Day 2

We had a great sleep at the casino in Watertown, South Dakota.  We were the only ones in the RV park and after our previous nights lack of sleep, it was terrific.
We had a light rain overnight and it was still pretty damp when we left in the morning.
There really wasn't a lot to take pictures of.
Once again, we were shocked at the number of dead raccoons on the side of the road.  The scenery was not too exciting.
After South Dakota we travelled through the entire state of Iowa.  We did see some nice fall colours.
Right across the river is the state of Nebraska.
I think Cleo found the day long, as we did.
This is a view of Omaha, Nebraska which we could see from Iowa.

We arrived in Missouri.
The skies finally started to clear up.

We arrived at Walmart in St. Joseph, Missouri for the night.  It was nice and sunny when we arrived & we immediately changed into shorts & flipflops.  Before long the sky changed.
Nothing happened other than a couple drops of rain.
Speaking of weather, boy do we know how to pick our winter destinations.  Last year The Baja had a hurricane shortly before we went there.  Now Hurricane Patricia is on its way to the area we are going this winter.
I don't think we will be getting the best sleep tonight.  Everyone in this city seems to drive noisy diesels and love to race through the Walmart parking lot.
One more thing - I guess Walmart employees think that if other people can camp in the Walmart parking lot why can't they? Yup, we saw someone get out of their old beat-up trailer in their uniform and walk across the lot to work.
