CAA to the Rescue

A quick stop in Brandon for fuel and we were locked out of the truck. We're not sure how it happened......automatically......Cleo stepping on the lock button......or??  What we learned from this - NEVER get out of the truck without the keys.  Half an hour later we were back on the road.  Thank you Esso for the use of the phone & the complimentary coffee.  This kind of adventure we can do without.
The wind is attempting, unsuccessfully, to blow us off the road.  According to tomorrow's forecast, it looks like we will be fighting it again.  We could wait it out, but I suspect we would never leave the prairies.  Thankfully, our truck & trailer don't seem to mind the wind.
Day 1 of travel complete.  We are in Indianhead, SK.  Sorry the pictures are not too exciting.  What is exciting is that we have wifi!
You can see by the photos that it was freezing cold at the beginning and the end of the day.  Cleo did not want to come out from under the covers this morning and our neighbour at Bird's Hill Park was scraping her windshield with a plastic spatula.  At the end of the day Dave is bundled up in his toque and parka.  Thanks Jamie!!
