What Will They Think of Next?

The weather in San Diego has been gorgeous.  Unfortunately, we have not had time to take in all the sights.  We have done a lot of dog walks along the Bay, but a lot of our time has been spent shopping for batteries for the trailer, an inverter, a solar panel, etc., etc.  All of the things we need for our upcoming Mexico trip.
The next picture is a shot of Fiesta Island off in the distance.  It was right across from us.  Apparently, you can let your dogs run there and from what we could see it looks like people camp there.  There are always several RV's there.
Today was a day of mostly work.  Dave worked on the truck, installed the new batteries, and did various other outside jobs.  I cleaned the trailer and did laundry.  We met a nice couple from Arizona and talked to them for awhile.  We found out about an area really close to us called Belmont Park.  We took a drive there after dinner and it was awesome.  It is right on Mission Beach which is on the ocean.  The waves were crashing in to shore and there is a really long beautiful beach with really soft sand.  There are lots of shops, bars & restaurants and a park with a roller coaster and lots of other rides.  There were a lot of people out on the boardwalk on such a beautiful evening but I imagine it is packed during the day.
Dave can never pass by Zoltar without getting his fortune told.
I had to post this next picture even though you will have no idea what it is.  We were driving back from Mission Beach and I couldn't believe my eyes.  We were passing a golf course and I said to Dave "Look at all the people golfing!"  The golf course is all lit up with really bright lights.  What will they think of next?  I'm sure if we played we would hit all of our balls into the few areas that are in the dark.
Sorry I took so many.  I just couldn't believe it.
We are moving to a different campground in San Diego tomorrow.  We meet up with our caravan group on Friday morning.  We're not sure what we are doing after Mexico but we would really love to come back to San Diego to see more of it.
